VULNERABILITY (2018)

Vulnerability refers to the diminished capacity of an individual or group to withstand the effects of a hostile environment

This theme has several aspects: physical vulnerability of the individual, of larger groups and of species but also vulnerability of ecosystems. Beauty and strength also lie in vulnerability. Man is perhaps the most vulnerable species, both fysically and mentally.

Keywords of the project were vulnerability, fragility, chaos, fear, holocene extinction, survival of the fittest, pesticides, exposure, struggle, death, dis-connection, beauty, dimensions, combat, journey of life and destination of life.

For this project I primarily made images of insects, some were dead, some were alive.
